The seat on Catena 584 is a standard rail fitting, so when you hate it — and most people hate a stock saddle — you can fit your own.
The console reads cadence, power and time, and it runs on batteries — no trailing cable, nothing to fail when a firmware server goes away.
Powder-Coated Steel, with a chain drive that needs no tensioning between services. Q-factor is 170 mm, close enough to a road bike that it does not retrain your hips. The finish marks before the frame does, which is the right way round.
