Resistance on Catena 946 is magnetic, stepless, and it is repeatable: the same number tomorrow is the same effort tomorrow.

Pedals take standard 9/16″ threads, so clipless pedals go straight on. Maximum user weight 130 kg; the frame is tested well beyond that.

Steel & ABS, with a poly-V belt drive that needs no tensioning between services. Q-factor is 155 mm, close enough to a road bike that it does not retrain your hips. Three years of daily use leave it looking used rather than worn out.
