Grip is the whole story with Corda 557, and the surface is textured rather than smooth so it still works with wet hands.
It bounces predictably off a wall and keeps its shape after a season of doing so.
The cover is textured for grip with wet hands and stitched in panels, not glued. Three years of daily use leave it looking used rather than worn out.
