Discato 143 Olympic Barbell

Discato 143 is an olympic barbell at within 10 g per plate, made for a fire station crew that trains between calls.

Sleeves spin on needle bearings, which is what lets the bar rotate under a clean instead of twisting the wrists. Tensile strength 1500 MPa.

Hard-Chromed Steel shaft, 28 mm, with a dual-mark medium knurl and dual marks for both power and weightlifting grips. Centre knurl is light enough not to scrape a neck on high-bar squats. It is cheap to replace and slow to need it.
