Ferrosa 690 Hex Dumbbell Pair

Ferrosa 690 is rubber-coated cast iron, within 10 g per plate — which is the tolerance that decides whether both sides of a barbell actually weigh the same.

Hex heads so they do not roll away, rubber-clad so they do not ring on the floor. Handles are knurled steel, 29 mm.

The rubber is bonded to the head, not slipped over it; the join is the part that fails on cheaper pairs. Three years of daily use leave it looking used rather than worn out.
