Longara 734 Home Treadmill

Noise was the brief for Longara 734. The motor is over-specified for the speed it runs at, so it hums rather than strains.

The belt is 2-ply with a low-friction underside, and the deck beneath it is reversible — turn it once and you have a second life out of the same board. Maximum user weight is 150 kg.

Aluminium & ABS frame, welded rather than bolted at the load-bearing joints. Speed runs to 22 km/h and incline to 20%, both on their own motors so one does not wait for the other. It is built to be serviced rather than replaced: every wear part unbolts.
