Manubrio 398 Cast Iron Plate Pair

Manubrio 398 is the unglamorous option and the one most home gyms should buy first.

Flat faces, no raised rim, so they stack close on a tree and do not rock on a flat floor.

Plain cast iron, machined at the bore and painted after. It chips — all cast iron does — and it will still be weighing the same in twenty years. It is cheap to replace and slow to need it.

Care

Store bars horizontally on supports or vertically in a holder — never leaning in a corner, which puts a bend in them.
