Massello 285 Olympic Barbell

Massello 285 spins on needle bearings, which is what keeps a clean from twisting the wrists at the turnover.

Stainless Steel shaft, 28 mm, with a medium-depth knurl and dual marks for both power and weightlifting grips. Centre knurl is light enough not to scrape a neck on high-bar squats.

Whip is moderate: enough to feel on a heavy pull, not so much that a press wanders. Weight tolerance within 1%. It wears slowly and visibly, so you replace it because you decided to rather than because it failed mid-session.

Care

Keep rubber plates out of direct sun; UV, not use, is what hardens and cracks them.
