Massello 531 Hex Dumbbell Pair

Massello 531 is a hex dumbbell pair sized for a small club with eleven members and one key, and it is made to be dropped on a platform rather than carried to one.

Hex heads so they do not roll away, rubber-clad so they do not ring on the floor. Handles are knurled steel, 28 mm.

The rubber is bonded to the head, not slipped over it; the join is the part that fails on cheaper pairs. It wears slowly and visibly, so you replace it because you decided to rather than because it failed mid-session.

Care

Brush the knurl with a nylon brush and wipe the shaft dry after use; chalk plus sweat is what pits a bar.
