Passata 287 Incline Trainer

Passata 287 is an incline trainer with an incline to 40%, decline to −6% — enough deck that a tall runner is not counting their steps.

Controls are deliberately plain: speed, incline, stop. There is a console, but the machine works with the console unplugged, which matters when a screen outlives its firmware.

Powder-Coated Steel frame, welded rather than bolted at the load-bearing joints. Speed runs to 22 km/h and incline to 15%, both on their own motors so one does not wait for the other. Three years of daily use leave it looking used rather than worn out.
