Piano 769 Competition Bench

Piano 769 is a competition bench in powder-coated steel, rated to 450 kg including the bar.

Powder-Coated Steel. The pad is high-density foam over ply, vinyl-covered and stitched rather than stapled, on a frame that tapers at the shoulder for a wider grip.

Adjustment is a ladder-and-pin arrangement — slower than a gas strut, and it has nothing in it to fail. 450 kg rating covers user plus load. The finish marks before the frame does, which is the right way round.
