Prora 873 Air Rower

Prora 873 stands on end in a 0.6 m² footprint, so a machine this long can live in a room that has no room for it.

The monitor tracks split, stroke rate and distance and stores sessions on the unit itself, so the data does not depend on an app being around next year.

Steel & Hardwood. The handle is straight rather than contoured, which suits more hand sizes than a moulded grip does, and the chain runs in a nylon channel so it cannot slap the rail. It is built to be serviced rather than replaced: every wear part unbolts.

Care

Check chain tension monthly and add a drop of oil; a dry chain is the noise people blame on the flywheel.
