Serrata 803 Hex Dumbbell Pair

Serrata 803 is rubber-coated cast iron, within 10 g per plate — which is the tolerance that decides whether both sides of a barbell actually weigh the same.

The rubber is bonded to the head, not slipped over it; the join is the part that fails on cheaper pairs.

Hex heads so they do not roll away, rubber-clad so they do not ring on the floor. Handles are knurled steel, 35 mm. It is cheap to replace and slow to need it.
