Everything adjustable on Spingere 385 is adjustable from the seat: you do not get up mid-set to change a pin.
The weight stack is steel, in 5 kg plates, pinned with a magnetic selector that cannot fall out mid-set. Every pulley is sealed-bearing nylon, not a bushing on a bolt.
Upholstery is a single wipe-clean panel, held by four bolts. When it eventually splits, it is a spare part rather than a new machine. The finish marks before the frame does, which is the right way round.
